New DG appointed at Foreign Affairs - 27.10.2011

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Joseph François as the new director general for Protocol, Treaties and Consular Affairs.

 

Mr François, formerly a member of the National Assembly for Anse Aux Pins, brings in-depth knowledge of local government legislation as well as a wealth of experience in treaty negotiations and multilateral work from his eight years spent in the Ministry and Department of Environment.

Mr François, who has a BSC in Natural Environment Science from the University of Sheffield, took up his new post early last week.
