Seychelles appoints new financial advisers
15.07.2009
The government announced yesterday it has appointed White Oak Advisory to act as its financial advisers during its ongoing debt restructuring process.
White Oak is staffed by the same former Houlihan Lokey bankers who have previously advised Seychelles.
“The appointment of this new specialist advisory firm ensures absolute continuity as our debt restructuring process enters its next phase,” said Ahmed Afif, principal secretary for finance.
James Zukin, co-founder of Houlihan Lokey, said: “We were pleased to have helped Seychelles reach a successful agreement with the Paris Club earlier this year. We now wish the authorities all the very best as they continue with their efforts to transform the economy.”
Creditors who are not already in dialogue with the authorities are asked to contact White Oak at the following email address: seychelles@whiteoakadvisory.com
