Seychelles beach again voted as world’s best
30.04.2010 Seychelles has again appeared top of the list of the world’s beaches; one of its famous beaches, on La Digue, has been voted top by www.strandbewertung.de from Germany.
“Far from being the first time that a Seychelles beach makes it into top spot in world rankings, this recent award again highlights one of Seychelles’ ‘Best Five’ - unique selling propositions which make Seychelles the extraordinary tourism destination that it is,” says Alain St. Ange, Seychelles director of tourism marketing. Seychelles recently launched a mini-campaign “From the Big Five… to the Best Five” which refers to the Big Five of the African plains to make the connection in consumers’ minds with Seychelles’ finest attributes: diversity of locations, beaches, sapphire seas, climate and the diversity of its people. Seychelles is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful archipelagoes on earth, not only for its stunning beaches but also for its pristine nature, extraordinary diversity across a broad spectrum and stunning beauty. This latest award strengthens the drive by the Seychelles Tourism Board in its repositioning of the Creole tropical islands as not only being ‘affordable’ but the best with its ‘Best Five’.
